About Morgan Gaynin Inc.

Vicki Morgan and Gail Gaynin are long time friends and independent representatives who merged their talents in 1995 to form Morgan Gaynin Inc. (MGI). Working out of their downtown Manhattan office Vicki and Gail have a small and highly respected firm that enjoys an attentive partnership with over 30 illustrators in 6 countries.

After studying Fine Art at Syracuse and SVA, Vicki graduated from Cooper Union. As a student she worked in the commercial art field and later as an assistant representative. Vicki Morgan Associates was formed in 1974 to represent photographers, illustrators, and designers. Vicki enjoys the business of illustration and communicates her keen interest through writing and speaking engagements. Drawing, knitting and crafts keep art an active part of her personal life.

Gail studied at Washington University in St. Louis, and received a BFA from Pratt. Gail enjoyed 10 fulfilling years as a textile designer for home furnishings, culminating with industry acknowledgment by having two designs accepted into the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 1980 she made a successful career transition to form a business representing photographers. This appealed to Gail's entrepreneurial spirit as well as her creative energy.

Gail and Vicki are deeply immersed in the illustration community and make a point of being current and informed about the industry. “CareerTalk” is their regular column in the beautiful publication, "3X3 THE MAGAZINE OF CONTEMPORARY ILLUSTRATION". Their business views have been included in a number of books and magazines, and they are frequent guest speakers at art schools and professional organizations. For individual consultations, their "CAREER PERK-UP" program offers private and personalized marketing presentation.
