And the Moonbeam Children’s Book Award Goes To…

It is a joy to see all of the wonderful children’s book manuscripts that zip through our office, and we are so consistently impressed by the quality of children’s literature that continues to be produced (take that, Nintendo!). It is a particular honor, then, that the Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards have acknowledged not one, but TWO of our artists as gold medal winners this year!

The Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards are dedicated to bringing increased recognition to exemplary children’s books and their creators in a whopping 36 categories that reflect the full range of subjects, styles, and age groups that children’s books are written and published in today.

High fives are in order for Wendy Edelson, who took home the gold in the Best Illustrator category for her work on the heartwarming “Bartholomew’s Gift,” and to Josee Bisaillon, whose contribution to “Benno and the Night of Broken Glass,” written by Meg Wiviott, took home the gold in the Multicultural Picture Book category.

You can take a look at all of the winners here, and congratulations, Ladies!
