Great Chat with Aviva Michaelov of the New York Times Op-Ed Section

We are big fans of the terrific interviews conducted by Thomas James of Escape from Illustration Island, and it was very exciting to come across this insightful chat with one of the most important art directors in the industry. Aviva Michaelov is responsible for designing the engaging Op-Ed section of the New York Times, and it is a real treat to have the opportunity to hear her perspective. Take a listen here!

Pete Ryan Invades MGI

It is so strange how the industry has changed – we often find ourselves forming close relationships with people that we’ve never actually met face to face. Pete Ryan was one of those people for quite some time, and we had the opportunity to first meet him a few months ago after loads of increasingly personal and “lol” peppered emails were exchanged.

And he’s back! He is just as intelligent and wonderful as his work, and we are so happy that he came by the office today and bonded with a few of the MGI mascots.
