Sally Vitsky’s multidimensional paper sculpture has been used to awesome effect by Andrew Wahlquist at the Los Angeles Times to advertise their (tasty looking) Celebration of Food & Wine.
Created for print and television, it is incredible how the various elements have been manipulated to create this beautiful campaign for such different plastforms.
You can take a look at the commercial here.

Sally Vitsky’s distinctive paper cut illustrations recently took an edgy turn when asked to do a t-shirt design for the hip streetwear company, 55 DSL.

The project allowed Sally to strut her creative stuff, as it was up to the artist to dream up a great graphic without much intervention from DSL’s team. The final t-shirt is awesome - and officially on sale with the Fall 2009 collection!

Congratulations, Sally! The blogger will happily report on the quality of the shirts upon receiving samples…for portfolios, of course.

Every year since 2005, paper artist Sally Vitsky has been asked to create one-of-a-kind shadowbox awards for the American Forest & Paper Association. The little award constructions, acknowledging excellence in recycling, are such a perfect use of Sally’s paper sculpture art.
You can learn more about Sally’s approach (and the resulting mess!) on her blog.

We always stress the importance of staying current, and we were so excited when Sally Vitsky showed us her newly revamped website.
In addition to her paper sculpture reproduced in print mediums, it was such a treat to see Sally’s art come alive through animation. An added section on her blog shows the creative use of Sally’s paper designs when used in an interactive context.
You can take a peek at Sally’s distinctive vision of the world here.
