Valeria Petrone Recognized for New Children’s Title

Valeria Petrone is pleased to announce that her illustrations for “Abitare Sottosopra, un Parco di Notte” and “Tilda e la Luna” have received the ‘distinguished merit’ and ‘merit’ awards, respectively, from the 3×3 Magazine Picture Book Annual – wonderful!

Valeria’s strong graphic work appeals to adults and children alike, but there’s no ignoring the fact that the “cute factor” is totally maxed out in her adorable picturebooks.

Sometimes it’s best to let the art speak for itself….congratulations, Valeria!

BRADLEY CLARK

BIOGRAPHY

Having dedicated the last 20 years of his life to his love of painting, Bradley considers himself a lucky man. A graduate of the Art Center College of Design, he married Cynthia Watts Clark, a classmate, and the two began their exciting journey together. Starting their lives and careers in NYC, the couple later relocated to the Hudson Valley to raise their three children and, in 2009, moved again to downtown Salt Lake City so that Bradley could pursue his other passion – vocal music – by singing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

A traditional watercolor painter, Bradley’s stylish illustrations pay tribute to a sumptuous retro aesthetic. Architectural renderings, holiday images, and plein-air landscapes feel at home in venues as diverse as books, packaging, licensing, and advertising.

When he isn’t busy painting, Bradley loves to travel, art direct for Living Celebrations: Life is a Masterpiece, and head the Rhinebeck/Rheinbach Exchange Program, where he works with 100 talented high school music students to perform and tour throughout the Rheinland in Germany.

ELIZABETH ROSEN

BOOKS

BIOGRAPHY

Elizabeth Rosen
Elizabeth Rosen is an amazingly prolific artist who simultaneously manages a bustling home life with her wonderful husband, son, and family dog while also contributing an abundance of graphic design and mom-time to the local PTA. Here is how Elizabeth describes it all: “I used to confound my wonderful agents, Vicki and Gail because of the various styles and mediums I work with. (They are pretty much used to it now, almost 12 years later!) My degree is from Parsons school of Design (ok, with honors) in Communication Design. I came into illustration by illustrating my own design pieces. As with design- I like to communicate the essence of a project with art that seems like a good fit. A CD portrait I did of Notorious B.I.G. was created in rough collage and spray paint. A piece about Levi Strauss was sewn and painted on denim. Regardless of medium, my work is almost always graphic, energetic, and colorful! I live in Woodstock NY now, after 20 years in NYC and a few in Asia & Australia. I’ve won awards for my illustration and design work. As with mediums, I really enjoy a wide spectrum of projects, be it a children’s book or an edgy urban editorial. I’ve had a one woman show in rotation at NYC’s Zuni (43rd and 9th) for about 14 years.”
