As a student at Syracuse University, Joanie's art meshed her photography and painting talents. Today, she has brought photoshop into the mix, creating evocative, moody images of people, animals, and landscapes intertwined with textural and collaged elements. Joanie has illustrated hundreds of book covers and 3 children's books in collaboration with her Mother as the author. Joanie's work has been exhibited at the Society of Illustrators and in one woman shows at fine art galleries.

Joanie lives with her college sweetheart husband, two sons and their dog, Zoe in Westfield, NJ. There she has become a local art celeb with her amazing eye for capturing candid pet and newborn photo portraits.
