The Children’s Book Council Honors Simona Mulazzani

The Children’s Book Council, one of North America’s foremost supporters of children’s literature and reading, recently honored “Rock-A-Bye Romp,” a darling play on the famous lullaby, written by Linda Ashman and illustrated by our own Simona Mulazzani.

Their “Hot off the Press” list, which features anticipated bestsellers, is a unique and impressive collection of fun titles, and we couldn’t be happier to see Simona in such nice company.

Take a look at the complete list here.

Don Kilpatrick Lands on the Children’s Choices List!

Don Kilpatrick recently learned that his charming book “You Can’t Go to School Naked!”, written by his mother-in-law, has been included in the 2009 Children’s Choices List.

Children’s Choices is a recommended reading list and a joint project of the International Reading Associateion (IRA) and the Children’s Book Council (CBC). 10,000 children vote on submissions, with only the top 100 books making the list.

The complete list will be published this month, just before the IRA’s annual convention. Check here for Don’s book, along with other titles!
