3×3 Magazine has been sharing the results of their recent competition (would you believe that they are up to annual number 14?!), and Carlo Stanga is proud to announce that his recent title, “I am London,” is a winner in the Picture Book Show.
Valeria Petrone’s striking imagery garners a lot of attention, but it was particularly exciting to see her recent American Illustration profile.
Covering her sun-drenched childhood, inspirations, influences, and the technical aspects of how she creates her graphic work, it provides a colorful snapshot into the life of this fabulous illustrator.
It’s a joy to see what the MGI artists create when the “assignment” is nothing more than an exciting journey into their own imaginations.
Valeria Petrone is certainly no exception, and we were blown away by the suite of beautiful imagery she created for “A World Conceived by Mistake,” a surreal collection of stories written by her partner Umberto Sebastiano.
Taking place in a make believe universe, the collaboration takes on a surreal feel. You can take a look at this gorgeous suite of imagery here – and congratulations to Valeria and Umberto!
